Traditionally associated with laidback yet luxe style and resort dressing, linen strikes an effortless balance between polished and relaxed, making it the perfect day to night style.

Wear it casually with sandals and slides or elevate the look with strappy heels. Linen dresses, separates and jumpsuits can easily be worn off-duty and on beach days, as well as for daytime events and afternoon cocktails.

Naturally breathable and cool against the skin, linen is a comfortable option for the warmer seasons as well as being a more sustainable choice for the planet. Due to the minimal water and energy needed to grow and manufacture linen, it is considered to have a lower impact on the environment, especially when compared to other popular synthetic fibres.

Caring for linen is simple and you'll be pleased to discover this beautiful material actually gets better with age. Firstly, we recommend checking the garment’s care label and following those instructions.

More generally, linen can be machine or hand washed in lukewarm or cold water. It’s best to wash it with other linen pieces and be mindful of keeping like colours together. With more wash and wear, linen pieces get softer and more comfortable.

If you need to iron your linen clothing, do so while the pieces are still a little damp. And, if you want to be extra careful, you can use a slightly damp cloth placed as a barrier between the garment and the warm iron.

We suggest wearing linen on long, sunshine-filled days and balmy nights. Try a linen playsuit with wedges or sandals and a mini bag for a daytime catch up with friends. When you want more coverage, team a full-length linen jumpsuit with a sporty bucket hat and sneakers. For evenings, slip on a black linen dress and heeled mules, finishing the look off with a baguette bag.
